Kelsey's Law Implemented To Prevent Accidents

BRIGHTON, Mich.- Kelsey’s Law, banning teen cell phone use while driving, has taken effect as of today. This law was signed into law in order to reduce the number of accidents related to distracted driving. Kelsey Raffaele, the law's namesake, was killed in a 2010 car accident while talking on a cell phone. Politicians and safety officers believe that the adoption of the law will result in safer Michigan roads. 

The law applies to Level 1 and 2 drivers under the Michigan Graduated License System and not citizens with full-privilege driver's licenses. Level 1 and Level 2 are steps in the State's driver education process. Level 1 is a supervised learner's permit and Level 2 is an intermediate license that restricts a teen's passengers and nighttime driving. Level 3 is a full-privilege driver's license. 

A teen who violates Kelsey’s Law by talking on their cell phone while driving can be fined up to $295, delay the driver's licensing process, and receive a conviction for a civil infraction. Ford SYNC (a system that ties together your phone, entertainment, and navigations systems) has been designed for hands-free cell phone use which can prevent these types of accidents, complying with Kelsey's Law. Kelsey’s Law allows hands-free systems for communication, but they must be integrated into the vehicle like SYNC.

Speculation Over Leaked 2015 Ford Mustang Pictures

BRIGHTON, Mich.- Leaked photographs revealing what very well may be the 2015 Ford Mustang  are stirring up conversation about the iconic American muscle car across the web. Ford aficionados passionate about the Mustang are anticipating the release of the sixth-generation version and are curious as to where Ford's design team is going with this particular revamp.  

The photos that have been released are widely available on the internet and show clay mock-ups that are believed to hint at the final version.
