Ford Donates NAIAS "Innovation Park" Display to Local Organizations
BRIGHTON, Mich. - Ford Motor Company certainly made their mark this year at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. Between debuting three show-stopping performance vehicles and their interactive show stand, the automaker gave attendees plenty to talk about. If you attended the 2015 NAIAS and spent time at the Ford display, you'll know first hand just how dedicated the company is to sustainability. Ford Motor Company is continuing this commitment by donating the NAIAS "Innovation Park" display to two local organizations in Southeast Michigan.

Ford Donates NAIAS "Innovation Park" Display to Local OrganizationsFord's "Innovation Park" display integrated water and plant elements to exemplify how Ford researchers are making use of organic materials while reducing waste, carbon dioxide emissions, and water usage. All of the plants, trees, and flowers that were in the display will be relocated to greenhouses at Detroit's Belle Isle Park, while the forty pieces of concrete that formed the foundation of the park make their way to North Star Reach - a nonprofit organization in Pinckney, Michigan that provides a year-round camp for children with serious and life-threatening illnesses.

Ford donating the NAIAS "Innovation Park" display to two local organizations in Southeast Michigan is just another demonstration of the company's devotion to sustainability. If you are interested in learning more about Ford's Blueprint for Sustainability, please click here.
