Ford & Petty's Garage Build Limited-Edition Mustang GT

BRIGHTON, Mich. - Petty's Garage is a high-performance speed shop in North Carolina, offering a spectacular lineup of various performance vehicles. Originally opening with the idea that the shop would restore race car chassis' from owner Richard Petty's private collection, the shop now helps customers upgrade their current vehicle or will even work with them on a project from scratch. After the company received a massive amount of positive feedback about their Mustang GT at the SEMA show, Ford Motor Company and Petty's Garage are partnering up to build an all-new fastback, limited-edition Mustang GT. 

Petty's Garage and Ford will be joining forcing to build two versions of Petty's Mustang GT; a Stage 1 model that is limited to 100 units and a Stage 2 that is limited to an exclusive 43 units. Both of the fastback Mustang GT's will house a 5.0-liter engine that will boost an insane 627-horsepower, 20-inch Petty's Garage HRE FlowForm wheels, and a MagnaFlow exhaust system. Stage 1 and Stage 2 Petty's Garage Mustang GTs will be customized with a variety of visually pleasing and performance-enhancing features. The front and rear fascias will both have unique new looks, displaying some of the Mustang GT's prominent new features like the showcased race-inspired spoiler. Inside the Mustang will be embroidered head restraints, floor mats, and Richard Petty's own signature on the dashboard. 

Stage 1 Mustang GTs will be available in any color, including all unique bodywork painted to match. Stage 2 will include all of the same features at Stage 1, but will offer customers a massive brake upgrade, a complete Petty's Garage two-tone paint job, and HRE three-piece forged-aluminum wheels. Believe us, Stage 2 is a model fit for a rockstar; just ask AC/DC's lead singer Brian Johnson. He could not resist Ford & Petty's Garage limited-edition Mustang GT, identifying it as "one of the best cars he's ever driven".
