Easy Treats for Easter

BRIGHTON, Mich - Finally! Spring is in the air and Easter is right around the corner. For as long as we have waited for this time of the year, who would want to spend a ton of time in the kitchen when they could be taking advantage of the beautiful weather? This is why we are sharing Easy Treats for Easter that are time savers and are simple enough for the kids to help out with! These Easter treats all require similar ingredients so feel free to make one or all three of them!

Easy Treats for Easter
This is the perfect treat to set out on the table as a snack or divide up into bags to hand out to family and friends. Spread the pretzels, popcorn and Chex cereal on a foil covered baking sheet. Melt the white chocolate on the stove, then drizzle over the mix and stir to coat it all evenly. Add the sprinkles and let harden on the cookie sheets. Break apart into a large bowl or bags, add the M&M's (or whatever candy you choose) and ENJOY!

Ingredients: 2 cups pretzels
1 bag popped white popcorn
1 package white melting chocolate
1 bag of festive M&M's
2 cups of Chex cereal
1 container of colored sprinkles
Parchment Paper
Baking Sheet

So festive and adorable! Once you have melted your chocolate over the stove, remove it from the heat and add the pretzel sticks to the melted chocolate. Stir carefully until they are completed coated. Form the pretzels into small "nests" and let harden. You can then use the extra chocolate as a "glue" to garnish the top of the nests with M&M's Speckled Eggs or whichever candy you choose!

Ingredients: 11-ounce bag of Milk Chocolate Morsels
2-3 cups of pretzel sticks (broken in half)
M&M's Speckled Eggs (or candy of your choice)
Parchment Paper

This recipe is easy as pie and is a definite crowd pleaser! Once you have made your Rice Krispie Treats, cut them into small squares - or an egg shape with a cookie cutter if you're feeling festive. Melt the bag of chocolate on the stove and then dip the treats individually into the chocolate. Set on parchment paper and add sprinkles or candies before the treats harden.

Ingredients: 6 cups of Rice Krispies Cereal
10oz mini marshmallows
1/4 cup of butter (1/2 stick)
1 bag of chocolate candy melts
1 container of sprinkles
Egg-shaped cookie cutter (optional)
