According to the DreamWorks 'Need for Speed' website, the movie is based off of a driving game where a street racer, fresh from prison after being framed, becomes a part of a cross country race out of revenge. Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul has been cast in the lead role, while Michael Keaton and Kid Cudi are just a few of the names that will play alongside him.
As for where the Ford Mustang plays a part in this action packed film, the custom Ford Mustang will star in the 2014 'Need for Speed' movie as Aaron Paul's vehicle of choice.
