Brighton Ford Pet Of The Week: Phoebe
My name is Phoebe. I am a VERY LOVING, playful, 3 year old short hair (spayed) female with GORGEOUS brown/grey Mackerel tabby markings and deep green eyes. I endured a very confusing time in my young life moving around from place to place until I was surrendered when my owner could no longer care for me. I am a very sweet girl, but was not happy at the shelter being around other cats, so thankfully, I am staying in a WONDERFUL foster home until I can be adopted. I would be SO HAPPY to find a loving, forever home and family to call my own! It may take a little extra effort for you to schedule an appointment to meet me in my foster home, but I promise I am worth it!
My foster Mom ADORES me!
Read some WONDERFUL things we have learned about Phoebe from her foster Mom:
Phoebe has been a PURR-fect house guest! She has beautiful, super soft fur that could keep you petting her for hours and she would absolutely love that! While other cats love to snuggle on your lap, this sweet little lady loves to crawl onto your chest and SING PURRS of contentment into your ear.
Phoebe loves to alternate between play time and cuddle time and will quickly charm her way into your heart and bring joy into your home. I love it when I open the door, she either races over to greet me or hops up on the condo and rolls all over in delight! Provide her with a feather toy and watch her happily play swat and catch! She is also quite content to be left alone especially if she is given a place to bask in the sun and perched near a window where she can observe the outside world around her. No worries with scratching -- this girl absolutely LOVES her scratching post!
Phoebe is very friendly with people and seems happy to share her home with respectful children, but becomes very stressed and agitated around other cats, so would be best if she is in a home without other cats around.
This sweet girl has endured the stress of moving around too often in her young life and deserves a stable, loving, forever home now! We intend to keep her happy in a foster home until she can be adopted into a permanent home!
