BRIGHTON, Mich.- It's officially Fall, the days of October are passing, and it's time for a trip to a local Livingston County Apple Orchard or Cider Mill before Halloween creeps up on us! Spicer Orchards- Just north of Brighton, right off the Clyde Rd. exit, you will not leave disappointed. Due to the apple shortage they will not have Pick-Your-Own but, they currently have harvested Honeycrisp, Jonathan, McIntosh, Gala and Fuji apples. Enjoy delicious fresh pressed cider and classic Spicer doughnuts with a live band on the weekends after you pick your own pumpkins and make your way through the corn maze! Fun for the whole family, you can even enjoy a scenic hayride through the farm.

Parshallville Cider Mill- Also, located off the Clyde Rd. exit, this cider mill is also a Historic Grist Mill. Parshallville has Michigan apples for sale, but is also unfortunately suffering from the poor apple crop. Explore Historic Tom Walker's Grist Mill on a guided tour and then enjoy your choice of delicious fall treats: doughnuts, cider, pies. They also have two car events planned for October 6th and 14th: Corvette Club Rolls In and Classic Legends Car Club.

Erwin Orchards- Sadly, Erwin Orchards is suffering from the poor apple crop and does not have any apples available for picking. They do, however, have Michigan grown gala, golden delicious, and Jonathan apples available for purchase in addition to cider and doughnuts. There's something for everyone: wagon rides, Mr. Bee's 3D attraction, corn maze, goat walk, trike trail, hay & straw maze, sunflower garden, and don't leave without picking your own pumpkin! Plus nighttime haunted attractions!
