The Howell Nature Center has partnered with The Spirit Of Alexandria Foundation to bring a hands-on science lesson to a school near you!  The Nature Bus is full of facts and live animals to teach you and your classmates about animals and the great outdoors.  All that is needed is for you to fill out their Grant Application and your school might be picked for a visit from the Nature Bus, a $465 value.  The Howell Nature Center has done so much for our community and continue to do so with educational opportunities like this.

Tour de Livingston Sponsor Appreciation Event

We had a blast at the Tour de Livingston Sponsor Appreciation Event, celebrating another successful year for one of Michigan’s largest bike races! 

Tour de Livingston Background
This fully supported ride includes hospitality tents, a full breakfast, snacks and, when your ride is over, a hearty meal prepared by the chef at Mt. Brighton . The event has grown each year and now includes more than 750 riders participating. All proceeds from this event benefit the Livingston County United Way basic need programs addressing hunger, homelessness, children and unemployment issues. Since its start in 2008, the Tour de Livingston has raised about $180,000 to address the community’s most critical needs!  The Howell Rotary was established in 1924 and for the past nine years, they have held an annual fall bike tour through beautiful Livingston County, Michigan. Mid-October is peak for fall colors in our area. Tour through spectacular Livingston County scenery.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the Livingston County United Way basic need programs addressing hunger, homelessness, children and unemployment issues. 

The 10th Annual Howell Rotary’s Tour de Livingston will be held on Sunday, October 8 2017, be sure to sign up in advance

We are looking to hire a Diesel Technician for our expanding auto dealership in Brighton, Michigan that can work on light duty and medium duty diesel vehicles.  We service everything from F-550s, F-650s and F-750s to school buses, experience with these vehicles is a must for this position.  We are looking for someone with 5+ years as a Diesel Technician, certifications in Cummins, CAT and Ford a plus.  Brighton Ford has many commercial partnerships with local fleets, which equals plenty of work for you!  Our service facility has the best and most modern industrial lifts that can accommodate any size work truck.  If you have the experience and want to start a career at a respectable, growing auto dealership, send an email with your work experience to janton@brightonford.com.
