Ford Showcases Innovative Ways at 2015 NAIAS

BRIGHTON, Mich. - If you plan on attending the 2015 North American International Auto Show this week, we can assure you that you are in for a huge treat! Ford Motor Company is showcasing their innovative ways at the 2015 NAIAS by highlighting new technology and performance vehicles in their display. 

When you attend the 2015 NAIAS, you should definitely plan to spend a decent chunk of your time at the Ford display. Along with debuting three new performance vehicles at the show, the Ford GT, Shelby GT350R, and F-150 Raptor, Ford is also showcasing their innovative ways by introducing not one, not two, but THREE new displays in their exhibit. The displays range from an Enthusiasts' Gallery featuring vintage photos of amazing moments in Ford racing history to an "Innovation Park" that shows visitors how Ford researchers are using organic materials, reducing waste, and using other environmentally sensitive technologies. 

Innovation Park encourages attendees to explore how Ford researchers are working to include water and plant elements to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and water usage. The exhibit is decorated with trees, perennials, soils, and water features from the Henry Ford Fairlane Estate, creating a very relaxing atmosphere for visitors! After you recharge your batteries at Innovation Park, head over to the EcoBoost display and see a gallery of all seven of Ford's fuel-saving EcoBoost engines. There are even racing games for guests to play that are themed around "Eco" and "Boost". 

Lastly, visitors can make their way to the Enthusiasts' Gallery where Ford and Revell® will be giving away special limited-edition F-150 Raptor model kits. The FREE collectable model kit allows for kids to build and play with their very own mini Raptor model! The 2015 NAIAS will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. starting Saturday, January 17th through Saturday, January 24th and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 25th.

First All-New 2015 F-150 Rolls Off Assembly Line

BRIGHTON, Mich -  Yesterday was one for the books at the historic Ford Rouge Center as everyone celebrated the official kickoff of production for the toughest, smartest, and most efficient F-150 ever! Yesterday Ford's exceptional manufacturing leadership and innovation was again acknowledged as the first all-new 2015 F-150 rolled off of the assembly line. The all-new F-150 showcases class-leading capability for truck customers as the first-ever high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy bodied truck. This version of the F-150 is a force to be reckoned with as it features a significantly higher level of towing and hauling capability, a dramatic 700 pound weight reduction, and 11 new class-exclusive technology features. 

Even after 37 consecutive years as the best-selling truck in America, customers continue to remain fully engrossed in the F-150. Interest about the 2015 F-150 has continued to grow since its reveal at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, setting a record through 13 generations of America's favorite truck. Ford Brings a Remarkable Display to the 2014 NAIAS

BRIGHTON, Mich - As thousands and thousands of people roll into the Cobo Center in Downtown Detroit, they are face to face with thousands of glossy, brand-new automobiles. The latest and greatest vehicles are on display in all of their glory, showcased to parade their very best features. Presentation is everything and with 66,000 square feet, Ford Brings a Remarkable Display to the 2014 NAIAS. 

Ford Motor Company raised the bar this year with an impressive 66,000 square foot display at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. A 37.5-ton display simulates a moving assembly line is the perfect touch to compliment the fresh vehicle lineup, latest technologies and innovations, and awesome interactive exhibits. This year has an additional upper-level exhibit that features the all-new Mustang, sitting perfectly near the Concept II developed by the 1962 Mustang design team.

"50 years of Mustang" and "The Future of Tough" are the two main focuses of this year's display. The 82 vehicles and interactive displays are showcasing Ford's new lineup of products. Consumers are able to interact with Ford vehicles that will show the ultimate potential and quality that these new products have to offer.

The smartest, toughest, most capable all-new Ford F-150 is ready for all to see as the center attention in the "The Future of Tough" presentation. A huge display, measuring 22 feet in height and 75,000 pounds, moves trucks in an assembly line showing the F-150 construction. Each faze of the construction follows themes of durability, capability, efficiency, and technology.

The 2015 Mustang is of course a main attraction at the Ford display this year. The upper-level exhibit area is a celebration for the 50th anniversary of Mustang. Visitors can enjoy tons of cultural and historic artifacts and reference to the Mustang's impact on fashion, film, food, and fun throughout the last 50 years. Revell® is providing a free Mustang model kit to young car lovers who visit the Ford display, while supplies last.

This is said to be the largest consumer experience Ford has ever had at the NAIAS according to David Tillapaugh, the global auto show operations manager for Ford. The North American International Auto Show goes through January 26th.

BRIGHTON, Mich.- You probably know that the North American International Auto Show in Detroit will open to the public later this month, and we're excited to announce that your Livingston County Ford Dealer will be hosting a Detroit Auto Show Ticket Giveaway! We've got quite a few tickets to give away, but you've got to hurry since the show opens soon!

Detroit Auto Show Ticket Giveaway-
Brighton Ford will be giving away Family 4-Packs of tickets to the Auto Show in Detroit. All you have to do is print off the template below and have your child (Age 10 & Under) draw their idea for an Auto Show Concept Car; a vehicle they would like to see at the Auto Show. Then, bring their drawing to Brighton Ford to be displayed and BAM, you've got a Family 4-Pack of tickets to the North American International Auto Show! The ticket giveaway is first-come-first-serve and we have a limited number of tickets, so bring your little one's drawing in soon before they're are gone!

*Auto Show Concept Vehicle Drawing is open to kids 10 years of age and younger. Each family is only eligible for one Family 4-Pack of tickets. Giveaway is not open to Brighton Ford Employees.
