2013 Shelby Ford Focus ST Auto Show Debut

BRIGHTON, Mich.- During Preview Week at the Detroit Auto Show, Shelby American introduced to the world for the first time the new Shelby Ford Focus ST. The 2013 Shelby Ford Focus ST Auto Show Debut shocked gear-heads around the world. Shelby's new Ford Focus ST features an upgraded suspension, functional hood vents, larger breaks, and a larger exhaust. Although the new Focus ST doesn't produce any extra horsepower, it is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo EcoBoost engine which adds some growl. If it's looks you're going for, the Hydrocarbon engine kit has the look of carbon fiber.

The Shelby exterior upgrades for the Ford Focus ST include three appearance packages: classic racing stripes, competition-look complete with race numbers, or checkered flag splash. The carbon fiber look also highlights the rear spoiler and grille inserts. Inside, most of the ST's original interior is the same, except for the seats which have been reupholstered with exterior color matching leather and Shelby stitching in the headrests. The 2013 Shelby Ford Focus ST, Debuted at Detroit's Auto Show, is truly one a kind in its class and style.

2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Wide Body

BRIGHTON, Mich.- Shelby American brought its innovative and hot-rodder spirit to the Detroit Auto Show this year. On Tuesday, January 15, 2013, the company revealed impressive new 2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Wide Body. Shelby's new Wide Body was based on the kit designed for the commemorative GT500 Cobra built for founder, Carroll Shelby. Previewed on the GT500 Super Snake, the new wide body kit was built to fit any Ford Mustang model as far back as 2005.

The new wide body kit featured on the 2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Wide Body, officially named “Wide Body Street Edition,” shows wider front and rear fenders that have the capability to accomodate rear tires up to 13 inches wide. This extra width will provide the vehicle with the extra traction that it will need to harness the Super Snake′s boosted, street-legal, 850 horsepower! Notably, the 2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Wide Body remains 50 state emissions legal and tuned on 91 octane pump gas, even with the impressive boost in power!

Ford Atlas Concept Truck Debut at Detroit Auto Show

BRIGHTON, Mich.- Ford Motor Company surprised everyone this morning when the automaker Debuted the Ford Atlas Truck Concept at a Detroit Auto Show press event. This week we were all expecting Ford to give us a preview of the next generation 2015 F-150, but it now appears that this new Ford Concept Truck may be our first glimpse at the next F-150!

Although, the Ford Atlas is referred to as a concept vehicle, it is possible that the truck could move into production with just a few minor changes. With a high-strength steel frame, evolutionary grille influenced by the current Ford F-150, and stacked headlights that resemble the Ford Super Duty, the all new Ford Atlas Concept Truck is just about ready for production. Although it remains a secret exactly which engine will be used to power the new Atlas, but Ford has hinted at a "next-generation EcoBoost". Not to mention Ford's new concept truck is loaded with new technology to make the truck more fuel efficient and useful to its owner.

2015 Ford F-150 Concept Preview

BRIGHTON, Mich.- Ford Motor Company shocked all car and truck gurus when they announced last month that they would in fact reveal 2015 Ford F-150 Concept at the Detroit Auto Show this month. Although the 2015 F-150 isn't supposed to be released to the public until the Fall of 2014, the Ford Truck is expected to compete with the 2014 GMC and Chevrolet Trucks.

The new 2015 Ford F-150 Concept Preview is expected to be a game-changer, revealing a new 2.9-liter V6 engine with a new 8-speed automatic transmission, currently codenamed "Nano". In an effort to improve fuel economy by at least 3 mpg, the new Ford F-150 will be 750 pounds lighter, thanks to aluminum bodywork and a remodeled lightweight chassis.

We've got quite a few tickets to give away, but you've got to hurry since the show opens soon!

Brighton Ford will be giving away Family 4-Packs of tickets to the Auto Show in Detroit. All you have to do is print off the template below and have your child (Age 10 & Under) draw their idea for an Auto Show Concept Car; a vehicle they would like to see at the Auto Show. Then, bring their drawing to Brighton Ford to be displayed and BAM, you've got a Family 4-Pack of tickets to the North American International Auto Show! The ticket giveaway is first-come-first-serve and we have a limited number of tickets, so bring your little one's drawing in soon before they're are gone!

*Auto Show Concept Vehicle Drawing is open to kids 10 years of age and younger. Each family is only eligible for one Family 4-Pack of tickets. Giveaway is not open to Brighton Ford Employees.
