Service Center Closes At 4pm On Tuesday, Dec 13th For A Visit From Santa

 

Santa is coming to Brighton Ford Tuesday, December 13th!  Due to Santa's visit, our Service Department will be closing at 4pm on Tuesday.  Our Service Department will open back up for normal operating hours (7am - 6pm) on Wednesday, December 14th.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but please feel free to stop by our New Car Showroom and Service Center Drive with your entire family to enjoy pictures with Santa, TV giveaway, bounce house, obstacle course, balloon artists, face painting, free pizza, and fun & games for all!

Life-Size LEGO replica of the "1964½" Ford Mustang V8 Coupe

BrickPony, a life-size LEGO® replica of the "1964½" Ford Mustang V8 coupe, will go on permanent display outside the Ford Driving School attraction at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort in Winter Haven, Fla.

Made out of 194,900 LEGO and DUPLO® bricks, the giant model took approximately 1,200 hours to assemble by a team of veteran Master Builders at LEGO Systems, Inc., in Enfield, Conn.

BrickPony measures more than 15 feet long, nearly 6 feet wide and more than 4 feet tall. It weighs 1,712 pounds, of which 960 pounds are LEGO bricks and 752 pounds is its aluminum chassis.

A few surprises were added under its hood, including a virtual horn and the sounds of a real Mustang engine — a first for a life-size LEGO vehicle — plus working headlights and taillights.

Drop Off Your Donations For United Way Matching Monday At Brighton Ford

We are pleased to share that the Livingston County United Way will be holding Matching Money Monday on Monday, December 12 and Brighton Ford is a drop off location for donations!  This is such an important day for our community. Approximately $300,000 was raised last year making it the area’s largest one-day fundraiser – and provided a tremendous impact on families during this past year.  Let’s make it happen again!

17th Annual Window Painting Event At Brighton Ford On Tuesday

For 17 years we have been inviting Brighton Area Elementary Schools to paint our showroom windows for the holidays.  This is just one, of the many community events Brighton Ford participates in to help our community.  We give the opportunity for the elementary school students of Brighton to express themselves artistically with paint and decorate our showroom windows for the holidays.  We also will donate thousands of dollars to the Brighton Area School's art departments, as we understand the importance of art and creative thinking for our young students. 

This year's 17th Annual Holiday Window Painting Contest main event will be held on December 13th from 5-7pm.  This is a free community event that is fun for all ages, where participants can vote on the best school's window art.  Voting on the student's window art is from 5-6:45pm and you can earn an extra vote if you bring a Toy For Tot or a Coat For A Kid (one extra vote per person). 

The prizes for each school is as follows:

-1st place: $3,000

-2nd place: $1,000

-3rd and 4th places: $500

There will be pictures with Santa, a flat screen TV giveaway, bounce houses, balloon artists, face painting, PIZZA, fun and games for all.  Bring your family out for this awesome free event on December 13th!

We have partnered up with Meals on Wheels of Livingston & Western Oakland County for their annual Pledge A Plate Campaign to help get the word out! This campaign is necessary so that they can keep on serving the homebound seniors of Livingston and Western Oakland County! There are many reasons to donate, especially at this time of year when the holidays are upon us. The best part about their Pledge A Plate Campaign is that 100% of the donations go directly to getting a plate of food to a local homebound senior!

The holiday season is here and Brighton Ford is ready to celebrate!  From our Window Painting Event, to our giant Christmas tree in our showroom, all the way down to our mailboxes for letters to Santa, your favorite Ford dealership is more than ready to spread the holiday joy!  You can download and print your letter to Santa below or stop in to our showroom and write your letter to santa while you are in our dealership.  We would love to be able to take one thing off of the busy parent's laundry list of things to do for the holidays and send your child's letter to santa...just another way we make your life easy, just like buying a car at our dealership!         

 

To download the letter to Santa, right click on the image and save as a picture, then print, write your letter to Santa and drop off in our new or used car showroom so we can deliver to Santa for you.
