Help Brighton Ford Help The Humane Society of Livingston County

Many have already drove by the Brighton Ford billboards around Livingston and Oakland County expressways and know that we support our community!  One local organization has really earned a spot in many Brighton Ford employees and customers hearts, is the Humane Society of Livingston County.  Help us support this great organization with much needed donations that keep this non-profit running.  And if making a monetary donation isn’t in your cards, then there are many other ways to help: volunteer or rescue your next pet from the Humane Society on Door Road in Howell.
A Brief Background on the Humane Society of Livingston County
There are many reasons animals end up in shelters. Financial hardships, personal health problems, or death of an owner often leave very few options for people to keep their pets. The majority of animals coming into our shelter are surrendered by owners who can no longer care for their pets. Our shelter provides peace of mind for these pet owners as well as a safe haven, compassion, and medical care for lost, abandoned, abused, or neglected animals until we can find a suitable, loving home for each one.  Thanks to our staff, volunteers, adopters, and supporters we are ranked among the highest performing shelters in Michigan for animal save rates and adoptions, so you can feel good knowing each animal is receiving the highest quality care possible while we work hard to find them a home.  In 2010 and 2012, we were recognized by the Michigan Pet Fund Alliance as the “Outstanding Limited Admission Shelter in Michigan.” for having the highest save rates with the greatest number of adoptions!
