VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED ON EASTER SUNDAY
Support a Senior on EASTERHunger Takes No Holiday off
Whether you have plans to attend a church service, have a big dinner with family and friends or lay low on Easter Sunday — Easter celebrations are different for everyone.
But there’s a way to unite for a common cause and make sure others, have the kind of day they deserve. Volunteer drivers are needed to individually deliver fresh-cooked, hot nutritious meals to seniors in the Livingston and Western Oakland County area.
How to get involved? After meals are packed on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, they are delivered to 3 partnering sites where volunteer drivers pick-up the meals for door-to-door delivery of individual hot meals start at 9:30-10:00 am. Routing and contact information is provided for each meal.
Meals on Wheels Easter Sunday delivery distribution sites are:
• Highland Senior Center 209 North John Street Highland, MI
• Walled Lake Villa 1035 Walled Lake Villa Drive Walled Lake, MI
• St. Joseph Hospital Bauer Road Howell, MI
To volunteer for delivering meals, call 810-632-2155 or c.zastrow@lwmow.org.
