Monster Trucks Plot: Looking for any way to get away from the life and town he was born into, Tripp (Lucas Till), a high school senior, builds a monster truck from bits and pieces of scrapped cars. After an accident at a nearby oil-drilling site displaces a strange and subterranean creature with a taste and a talent for speed, Tripp may have just found the key to getting out of town with a most unlikely friend.

ABOUT THE HISTORIC HOWELL THEATER

The Historic Howell Theater has been a working theater for 87 years.

The Historic Howell Theater is a unique location for independent film, art, entertainment and community events.  Owner/Operator Tyler DePerro completed a major facelift including renovations, new decor and installation of new digital projectors, screens and surround sound in 2014.   He also added two stages and a cafe vibe in the lobby to host  community activities and create a venue to showcase regional artists.

To maximize the value of this community asset we need your help and support.  You can give us your email here on the website to receive our movie schedule every two weeks. And if you want more, follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for the latest updates on the theater and movies. We typically show three to five independent, classic, international, silent, family, local filmmaker and festival films per week.  Sponsoring a film has become very popular for individuals, groups and companies.  Please visit our Sponsor page for details.   And if you are looking for a unique atmosphere for a birthday party, meeting, community event or private film screening visit our rental page. We look forward to hearing your input as we grow with the community.

We work with and support many non profit, educational and civic organizations in the Michigan area. Please contact us to discuss how we might work with your group.
