Production of 2015 F-150 Brings 850 Jobs to Rouge Center
BRIGHTON, Mich - Ford Motor Company announced yesterday that the production of the all-new 2015 F-150 will bring 850 jobs to the Dearborn Rouge Center. The jobs were divided amongst three facilities that are involved in creating the aluminum-intensive pickup- 500 for the truck assembly plant, roughly 300 for the stamping factory and more than 50 for diversified operations.

The production of the all-new 2015 F-150 has brought 850 jobs to the Dearborn Rouge Center and has also helped Ford Motor Company to surpass its goal of creating 12,000 hourly jobs in the United States by 2015. Ford's total new job creation exceeds 14,000 to date with more than 4,000 jobs added in southeastern Michigan alone!

With production of the 2015 F-150 came a complete renovation of the Dearborn Truck Plant; the first major manufacturing transformation in a decade. All of the legacy manufacturing equipment was taken out and replaced with top-of-the-line production technology. The Ford Rouge Factory Tour is even receiving a makeover with the addition of new films, exhibits and hands-on experiences that are tied with the new pickup truck.

America's best-selling pickup is scheduled to go into production soon and arrive in showrooms later this year.
