Ford Nominated For 'Car of the Year'

BRIGHTON, Mich.- There's been a shocking change in procedure at the Geneva Auto Show this year! The 'Car of the Year' winner has been announced just hours after the finalists were revealed! The 83rd Geneva International Motor Show doesn't open to the media until tomorrow, but this morning the 'Car of the Year' finalists were announced.

The only American brand to make the finals, Ford was Nominated for 'Car of the Year' with the B-Max! Judged on innovation, performance, price, quality, and design, each of the world's top auto-making countries had a car nominated as a finalist. Just hours after Ford was Nominated for 'Car of the Year', 59 European auto journalists cast their votes for the winning vehicle.

Usually, the 'Car of the Year' announcement comes in November, but this year, it came on the same day! We were sad to hear that the Ford B-Max did not win, but according to President of Jury, Hakan Atson, he felt all the cars were already winners for making it to the final eight!
